However, knowing what to bring to rehab is important. Having clothes and things of your own can go a long way in making sure you feel comfortable at Liberty Bay. In addition, there are certain things that are detrimental to recovery that we don’t allow you to bring. You need to know what to bring to inpatient rehab and what not to bring to get the most out of rehab and to not start off on the wrong foot. Having a rehabilitation checklist available when you’re packing can be a useful tool.

Keep in mind what you’re going to rehab for as well. If you’re headed in for alcohol addiction, it’s best to leave behind anything that could remind you of that addiction. If there are shirts with your favorite beer logo, leave those at home. It may sound silly, but certain clothes and personal items could remind you of people and places where you would drink. It’s best to not bring those, or to get rid of them altogether.

Individuals who gain admission into Liberty Bay Recovery’s inpatient drug and alcohol rehab should bring approximately two weeks’ worth of clothes and personal toiletries. This is what to bring to inpatient rehab to ensure they’re prepared for the stay.
